How much is a virtual office in Liverpool?
A virtual office at the Maggie O'Neill Centre costs from £20 a month. That gets you a registered office and business address. The £40 Virtual Office plan adds unlimited post scanning. It also gives you 2 free meeting room hours a month, worth £40. Director's Cover adds £10 a month to either plan. That makes it £30 or £50. There's no VAT to add. The centre is a charity and isn't VAT registered.
What is the cheapest virtual office in Liverpool that includes a registered office?
The Address Only plan at the Maggie O'Neill Centre is £20 a month. It includes a registered office address for Companies House and a business address. We upload a photo of every envelope, unopened, to your mailbox app. Then pick it up from reception, or have it forwarded for a flat £5 plus postage. Cheaper prices elsewhere often cover a business address only. Then the registered office, post handling or a setup fee cost extra. So check what each price includes. Our guide to the cheapest virtual office address in the UK explains what to look for.
Can I use the address as my registered office with Companies House?
Yes. Every virtual office plan at the Maggie O'Neill Centre includes a registered office address. It's at 433 Liverpool Road, Huyton, Liverpool, L36 8HT. You can use it as your business address too. Put it on your website, invoices and letters.
How do I keep my home address off Companies House?
Use the Maggie O'Neill Centre as your registered office. Then add Director's Cover, which gives you a director's service address too. New filings will show our address, not your home. Older papers on the register may still show your home address. Companies House explains how to ask for it to be removed.
What is Director's Cover?
Director's Cover is a £10 a month add-on. It gives you a director's service address at the Maggie O'Neill Centre. Your plan already swaps your home for our address as your registered office. With Director's Cover, your home doesn't need to show in either place on the public register.
If I upgrade my plan, do I keep Director's Cover?
Yes. Say you have Address Only with Director's Cover at £30 a month. If you move up to Virtual Office, your cover moves with you. The price becomes £50 a month.
Who handles my post?
We do, here at the Maggie O'Neill Centre. We don't send it to another company. Our own team handles virtual office post and keeps it securely stored.
Can I collect my post, or have it forwarded?
Yes. You can pick up post from reception at the Maggie O'Neill Centre, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. Parking is free while you do. Or we can forward it to you for a flat £5 plus postage.
Can I meet clients at my virtual office address?
Yes. Meeting rooms are in the same building. They start with the Pod at £20 an hour. The £40 Virtual Office plan includes 2 free meeting room hours a month.
Do I need to be near Liverpool to use the virtual office?
No. The Maggie O'Neill Centre has virtual office clients all over the UK. They chose a charity for their registered address, not an online service or a company run for profit. On the Virtual Office plan, we open and scan your post. So you can read it wherever you are.
Is there a contract?
There's no lock-in. You can cancel a virtual office at the Maggie O'Neill Centre any time. Just give one month's notice.
How quickly can I start?
You can start as soon as your AML checks are done. Fill in the form. Then fill in the secure AML form we send you. After that, you get your address and mailbox app.
Why do you need to do an AML check?
By law, anyone who offers a registered office service must check their clients. These are called anti-money laundering (AML) checks. The Maggie O'Neill Centre sends you a secure form for this after you sign up.
Can I use a virtual office for a taxi or private hire operator's licence?
Not in Knowsley. Some councils accept a virtual office address. Knowsley Council asks for a lease, with a suite number, at Class E commercial premises. Officers don't inspect, but a virtual office isn't a lease. For Knowsley operators, the Maggie O'Neill Centre has its own package. It's a 12-month satellite office lease with planning permission, from £100 a month. There's an exit clause if the council refuses your licence. See the Knowsley operator licence address page.
Is it a real address or a PO box?
It's a real building with people in it: the Maggie O'Neill Centre, 433 Liverpool Road, Huyton. Companies House doesn't accept a PO box as a registered office address.
